We hold fund raising events for Buttercups regularly - please watch this page for details of the activities coming up. All proceeds from these events go to the sanctuary. Please put these dates in your diary and encourage friends and family to come as well!

The Willington Players Theatre Group presents The Shop at Sly Corner

At the Hazlitt Theatre, Earl Street Maidstone on Tuesday 24th April, starting at 7.30pm

The Willington Players have, once again, kindly invited Buttercups to be their charity partners for the evening, so Buttercups will benefit by 50% of the face value of any tickets we sell.

The Shop at Sly Corner is a famous thriller by Edward Percy – a great mystery whodunit, keeping you guessing right to the end. Tickets cost £10 each. The success of this event depends on a large number of people selling a small number of tickets each, so contact us if you think you can sell some tickets on our behalf. These events are always a fun night for all, and tickets are popular, so please book promptly to avoid disappointment.

Family days at the Sanctuary

Family days offer the chance to visit 100 goats in a beautiful parkland setting. Refreshments, tombola, stalls, barbeque, adopt a goat. Everyone welcome. Come and buy carrots and crackers and feed our goats - an afternoon out for all! Directions to Buttercups will be signposted from B2163 Heath Road, Cock Inn area on the day, or see our contacts page for a map.

Buttercups doesn't have level access for those with physical disabilities or wheelchairs – ground levels are uneven as one would expect with a rural setting. However, people with disabilities frequently visit our site and are able to have an enjoyable visit. We do have toilet facilities with wheelchair access and there are many ways that we can help to ensure those with disabilities are able to meet our goats. Please contact us before visiting to agree the assistance we can provide and to enable us to put arrangements in place

Goat Husbandry Workshops

Ideal training for the beginner thinking of goat husbandry. Course covers handling, housing, feeding, medication, ailments, foot trimming and everyday management. £40 per person, £20 for second person. Places must be booked in advance. Hot drinks and sandwiches provided.

Available dates - 22nd April, 17th June, 16th September, 4th November. 11am start at Buttercups Sanctuary for Goats. Finishes about 3pm.

Quiz Evening

Saturday 21st April 2012, at the CoxheathVillage Hall. 7:15pm for 7:30 start. Entrance £6 per person. Tables of 6. Bring your own drinks, glasses and refreshments. Raffle. All proceeds in aid of Buttercups. Please book tickets in advance as demand is high for this fun and excellent value night out.
