Ever thought about volunteering?
Buttercups could not exist if it were not for the dedication of the many volunteers that give up a few hours a week to help look after the many rescued goats in our care. If you love animals, wish to make new friends, enjoy more social activities, then consider volunteering at Buttercups. We start at 8am or as soon as you can make it and finish at mid-day, with a refreshment break at 10am. The morning includes sweeping the yard, spreading of hay into the hay racks, cleaning the pens and preparing the evenings vegetables amongst other things, all the time enjoying the interaction with our goats, whilst also enjoying the social aspect that comes with volunteering at Buttercups.
This can also be an excellent place to visit for a work placement position! This could be for Duke of Edinburgh students, as part of a College placement, or even for University students. You will be able to get very hands on with all aspects of the sanctuary and gain a lot of valuable knowledge and experience.
