The average cost of keeping a goat here at Buttercups for twelve months is estimated to be in the region of £300 and by donating £25 a month, you can fully support an individual goat at the sanctuary and become their ‘Guardian’.

Once you have become a guardian to a goat, you are able to come and visit them any day you wish, between 8am and 5pm! This will allow you to bond with them, perhaps giving them a brush or even bringing them a special snack. You will also receive a Guardianship Certificate as well as an annual letter from your goat.

If you wish you can donate the total amount of £300 in one settlement or 12 monthly instalments of £25. You may even share your goat with a friend to cover the expense!

Best Relaxant Ever

I just love sitting, petting the very happy goats. If you are stressed it is the biggest stress reliever ever!!! Love that everything you spend money on will go towards looking after the goats. I will be visiting as often as possible.

Well Worth A Visit

Well worth a visit. Very child-friendly. Goats clearly loved and well cared for. Very hands-on experience for visitors. Helpful, cheerful staff. Had a lot of fun here.

A gentle sanctuary for goat and visitors

A lovely relaxing place. Great to see the Goats just roaming free. Plenty of willing goats looking for a gentle fuss, plus the opportunity to feed some of them if you purchase a bag of goat feed for £1. Definitely worth the visit.
