NEW SITE - Ledger's Bank

Buttercups will now be stepping into a bold new era, with the construction of a bespoke, second site. This will work in conjunction with the original, and in time will be able to house 160 additional goats, should they require our help. Upon a beautiful, Ledgers Bank is a south-facing 17 acre hilltop pasture, less than a five-minute walk from the sanctuary along the picturesque Greensand Way, we will develop a functioning, bio-diversity led landscape where both nature and our herd can thrive, and ensure a secure, sustainable furute for the sanctuary.

This grand undertaking will certainly take a lot of time and investment, but will also yield fantastic, extensive, long-lasting results for both our adorable residents and the wider, beautiful countryside. This is the most significant step since the charity’s foundation, and marks the begging of our next chapter in the Buttercups’ history.

There are many steps ahead before this fantastic goal is realised, and the simple truth of the matter is this: We cannot do it without your support. We are once again calling on our fantastic community who have championed us so passionately though the years, to support the charity as it ventures forth into it’s bright, bold future. Through your donations, we will see this vision come to life, and there are a number of ways that you may wish to do this. We have our general fundraiser, which will cover the costs of everything from fencing to hay racks.

You may also wish to join in our paddock naming fundraiser - there will be four seperated areas which our herd will graze rotationally across the year, and for £5 you can put forth a name!

Alternatively, you could even sponsor a 10x10m parcel of land, either in your name of perhaps that of another goat-mad individual. We are currently constructing a map of the site, divided into the plots, which will be ready an available to sponsor in the coming weeks - if you would like to be the first to get the chance to sponosr a square, please register your interest!
