Entrance to all open days is by donation and The Old Goat House Tea Room is open for hot and cold drinks, snacks, souvenirs and of course goat food!
All our goats like to be spoilt, so why not purchase a bag or two of treats to feed them? You may do this from the safety and comfort of the tea room area, or for those wishing to be more adventurous (and at their won risk!) you can walk outside into the field to feed the goats our there.
Every Saturday & Sunday from November to the End of March, 11.00am-3.00pm (Unless closed due to bad weather)
These are days for the visitors who are content to just observe the goats in their home surroundings and to see them relaxed, playing and grazing. Members of staff and volunteers will be on hand to show you around the stables introduce you to some of the goats and inform you of the objectives of Buttercups. You may see the sanctuary at work with volunteers cleaning, looking after goat’s welfare, grooming and perhaps giving the occasional bath. Beware of mud!
From 10th April - 31st October, we are open every day from 11am-4pm
Over the Summer months, Buttercups will be opening its gates to the public every day! Thanks to our new facilties, you will be able to sit surrounded by goats whilst drinking a fresh beverage, safely secured within the new tea room area.
